What does Camberwell Golf Club offer Female Members?
A fun, relaxed and social environment where you can share a love of golf. Learn and develop your golf skills while sharing an enjoyable morning with a group of friendly, like-minded women.
You are very welcome to play one or two games with us before joining as a member.
Women’s Membership Information
18 hole and 9 hole competitions every Wednesday
Competition begins at 8.00am.
18-hole competitions every Monday, Thursday and Saturday
These are mixed competitions with the results separated into male and female divisions. Competition registration starts from 7.00 am.
Member Benefits
- Affordable membership fees and competition fees so you can play socially and competitively all year round.
- Camberwell Golf Club is affiliated with Golf Link and all members are entitled to an official handicap. You will be assigned a Golf Link number and card that links you to the national handicap network. Your handicap can then be accessed via the Golf Link website. There is no need to have an existing handicap when you join.
- We play a variety of games during our weekly golf competitions including Par, Stableford, Ambrose, 4BB, and Stroke. There are annual competitions such as Club Championships and Foursomes, and fun social events like our Picnic Day and Spring Fun Day.
- Members have the opportunity to play at different Clubs throughout the Melbourne Metropolitan Region representing the Club in Salvers, Bowls and Charity events.
- The Club fields one or more pennant teams in the VGL competition each year.
- Full Registration and Insurance with the VGL.
- All members can participate in our annual Getaway for golf and fun in country Victoria.
Membership fees and costs
- One off joining fee of $80.
- Annual fee of $100
- Green fees are payable to Freeway Golf Club Pro Shop each competition day (Normal Daily Green Fees Apply)
- Wednesday competition fee of $6.50 for 18 holes and $3.50 for 9 holes.
